I love to learn how to do new things. I like how I feel when I know how to do something I didn't know just moments before...like I've just changed my life forever!!!! FOREVER!!!! I love how I feel when I am good at something.
Well tonight, after school, I came home to my husband at a loss for how to start putting in new tile in the basement. He wasn't sure how to mix the mortar...and even if the mortar was mixed, he wasn't sure how use it. So guess what I learned how to do...
Yes...you guessed it - I learned how to mix mortar and lay tile! I just feel like a super star when I can do things myself (ok, youtube helped a bit). And while I learned this new skill - sweet Mr. Kidd practiced his gourmet omlette making skills. Do you think he knew we were obsessed with eggs today in science class?
